Leonardo DiCaprio has been supporting Teyana Taylor amid the fallout from her messy breakup from basketball star Iman Shumpert, according to insiders who insisted the costars are nothing more than friends.
Teyana, 33, and DiCaprio, 49, who is currently dating 26-year-old model Vittoria Ceretti, raised eyebrows last week after they were pictured looking ‘cozy’ at a party she hosted in honor of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at Manhattan hotspot The Stafford Room.
But despite reports claiming the pair looked ‘cozy’ and spent ‘all night’ together, insiders have revealed DiCaprio has been helping Teyana with her break up and career since they struck up a friendship on upcoming movie, The Battle of Baktan Cross.
‘They aren’t dating but are very close and they have given each other a lot of advice recently,’ a source told DailyMail.com exclusively.

The insider explained that Leonardo has also become a mentor of sorts to the singer-turned-actress, who plays the lead in the new Dionne Warwick biopic.
‘Teyana is transitioning into being a major Hollywood star and she appreciates the help Leo has given her navigate the space,’ they continued. ‘They really get along and have spent some time together recently.’
Teyana and Iman battled it out in court for months after it was confirmed in September 2023 that they had called time on their seven-year marriage.
A month later, Teyana shared a statement which read: ‘I mind my business, don’t bother nobody & y’all know I’ve never played about my children, family & our privacy. I have not spoken on this private matter to any media outlets or blogs etc.

Despite her hopes to keep things amicable, the pair were soon caught up in a legal back and forth over child support payments – with Iman saying he is comfortable with paying $8,000 a month for their children, Junie, eight, and Rue, three.
In January the Titanic heartthrob was pictured tapping Teyana on the backside as they filmed their new Paul Thomas Anderson movie, sensa138 which also stars Regina Hall, Sean Penn and Benicio Del Toro.
Two months later, DiCaprio was seen wrapping an arm around Teyana in a video from the WME pre Oscar event.
In April 2024, Teyana shut down any speculation they were romantically linked but gushed that he was ‘the best’ and always ‘cheerleads’ those he works with.
Explaining the video of them from the WME event, she told E! News she was just trying to help him out.
‘Leo wore extensions for the movie and they were hurting him,’ Teyana said. ‘I was literally helping him with his bun.

His most recent split from Daisy Jones & The Six star Camila Morrone appeared to end just weeks before she turned 25.
He was pictured out and about with Vittoria as the pair enjoyed a bike ride last week.
Despite keeping a casual appearance, one fan noticed the Hollywood couple and managed to get a smiling selfie with Vittoria.
