However, according to him, this is different with Gerindra, where they will try their best to cooperate with the parties in KIM to nominate Ridwan Kamil. “But for the Gerindra Party in Jakarta, we will try our best to build communication, especially with the KIM parties and also parties outside of it,” he stated. “We are intensifying this as the time gets closer, we cannot delay this, and a name must appear soon,” said Habiburokhman.

This is regulated in KPU Decision Number 475 of 2024, which is the Fourth Amendment to KPU Decision Number 476 of 2022 on Technical Guidelines for the Formation of Ad Hoc Election and Regional Head Election Bodies.
