The horse racing community say it is ‘impossible to comprehend the pain’ BBC commentator News Today John Hunt is feeling after his wife and two daughters were murdered in a deadly crossbow attack. 

Mother Carol, 61, and daughters Louise, 25, News Today and Hannah, 28, were found fatally injured at their £800,000 detached home in Bushey, Hertfordshire, last night. 

Police sources said the three women were tied up before being shot in a ‘targeted attack’ that may have also included ‘other weapons’.

A huge manhunt is underway to find suspect Kyle Clifford, 26, who is the ex-boyfriend of John’s daughter Louise.

The BBC sent a note to Five Live staff today describing their deaths as ‘utterly devastating’.

While ITV racing commentator Matt Chapman wrote on X: ‘No words needed for what has happened to @HuntyCaller and family today.
